HIT Roxeetops Rio Conchos Can CD/ASCA CD
Bear
Bear, whose real name was Concho, came from Cindy
Blanchette when he was 6 months old. He was a total
sweetheart and was my best friend for 11 years. Together we
travelled all over Canada and the USA. He had his CD titles
from both CKC and ASCA, as well as 2 legs towards his
CKC CDX. He was also certified as a Saint John's
Ambulance Therapy Dog. After a minor back injury several
years ago, I decided to retire him from competition rather than
risk further injury. Unfortunately, Bear developed cancerous
tumors in the muscles along his back and on several ribs. He lost
his battle with cancer Sept. 1/2010. Not a day goes by that I
do not miss this very special boy.

March 2010 - Bear, at 11.5 years of age, competed in Veteran's obedience at the dog show in
Camrose, AB and tied for first place with a perfect score!! Although a little slower than in his
prime competition days, the old guy never missed a stride and had an awesome time.
Unfortunately, I lost the run-off rock/paper/scissors competition so he officially came in second
place. As usual, the handler was at fault LOL. Such a treat to have him back in the ring,
